Asperatus storm clouds, with story. by harrietsfriend Asperatus storm clouds, with story. by harrietsfriend
Recently this type of cloud formation was named "undulatus asperatus". Originally shot in infrared, as black and white. The blue wash was a reflection of the mood I felt while taking this storm's image. I have posted another taken in color with my Leica camera, in my gallery.

These clouds formed over former Native American lands, in Indiana. I keep re-discovering new spirit images in the clouds. Have you noticed any?

As always feel free to download, just give me photo credit.

Shame the right side is a blurry. Must have been a fantastic phenomenon!

I'm not so sure it is blurry, but possible an action of the front passing quickly.

This was a first and last time photo, which hasn't occurred but once in my life and only for a half hour.  I did this in color and in memory color, with the blue wash from black and white.  check them both out.

see why its good to always have a camera with you.

If only cameras were attached to our eyes.
Er.  Sometimes.  Not all the time.  That'd be terribly creepy.

this is why it is an important reason for your particular camera, one to fit your hands and personality.  of course it all starts with a glance and stopping to shoot.
