Description
Crossing a creek with my Specialized city/mountain bike as a journal moment, taken in 1989. Carrying my shoes in my hands so not to have a wet shoe ride from there on. Taken by my riding partner, Tom Jacobs, with my 120 roll Zeiss Ikonta, folding back pocket camera.
The importance of this photo is the record of my time riding through the countryside in all types of conditions and through all kinds of terrain. What a nifty milestone. I agree that taking photos recording what we do is a great idea. Not only proved we were there, or did this or that...but to remember.
