Chicago river.DSCN2786, with story

We spent the day in Chicago, and while not a photo trip, I still managed to carry one pocket camera with me.  We bought a lunch carryout and ended up walking by the river to eat on the steps leading down to the banks.  The river's bridges were designed to lift in the center to allow tall ships passage.  Most going up and down the city river had roofs designed to pass under the bridges without special needs.  Sort of a crew cut for the tops of the boats.  In this instance one had just passed under the bridge to the delight of the tourists being carried on the river tour.
