Description
What a fond memory this will make for each of them. Dad taking his son for a ride on the big zero turn mower, as they trim the yard around the church.
I stopped on my bicycle commute to capture this family moment from the edge of the woods, trying to not disturb them with my presence. They rode up and around, while I waited patiently until I could take this image of them together, with a forest background away from civilization, only a mere hundred yards away.
Feel free to download, just give me photo credit.

What took five minutes out of my life, will last much longer for them, and their memories of this day. This is why I carry a camera, as you cannot take this with a phone.
Finally, after stopping by the church on many occasions, and speaking with the treasurer, who makes out the checks, I happened to catch dad at work again. I sent him the photo by email, and he allowed me to add his name Ryan and his son's name Walker to the image. He hadn't been aware of my taking the photo, but both he and his son were delighted to have this moment recorded.

Time is finite - and, therefore, the most precious of resources. Moments like these are brief and fleeting; being able to hold onto them is a treasure.
