The sweet moment before panic.
What we have forgotten, as fully grown parents, is how when you feed ducks, they overwhelm you, surround you and go after the source of food, eager to eat. This young boy, with the best of intentions was soon swarmed by the flock, and it no longer was an awe moment to photograph.
Taken in The Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA, and incidentally not to far from the "Do Not Feed The Animals" sign. The parents are immediately to the left, out of frame and came to the rescue in time. Good thing they were not feeding geese.
Taken early in the new 21st century with an Olympus Stylus film camera, with a fixed, autofocus, 35mm F 2.8 lens, using Kodak Gold 200 negative film.
