Fencing for GIANTS. 800 1218, with story

Way ahead down the road I saw these tall electrical towers.  Watching them approach I envisioned what would make the best background in front of the turbulent soupy skies.  Parking off the road, I walked quite a ways to and fro, catching the towers in alternate combinations of angles.

As I walked I could hear the electric song of the wires, a hissing snapping white noise, telling me there were a lot of stray electons coursing off the lines.  Had I had a florescent tube with me, it would have lit up.

Shooting through my polarizing filter (my standard practice)  I dialed in the skies to deepen them for saturation.  This is farmland, in eastern southern Indiana.  I know how large the land vechicle is (off to the right side) so its easy to imagine how large the corn silo is next to it.  Harmonious to the huge towers, reminding me this was a scene for the very large.  It was an easy jump to imagine the towers and their wires as a fence to contain the giants amongst us.
