Description
A bit higher up the gravel road, in Bean Blossom, Indiana, USA, the narrow road again curves it's way up to State Route 135, passing through the autumn forests.
I have taken a bit of liberty with the colors, yet have remained basically true to the season. Shooting on an overcast day with a hint of sunlight breaking onto the path, I set up my Hasselblad 500C with a 150mm F4.0 Zeiss Sonnar, on Fuji 400 negative film. Full file has been reduced to 35MB jpeg. Will print as a two foot square for the gallery wall.
I wish you could all be there to see what makes Brown County such a great forest to visit when the colors bloom in mid to late October. I also wish you would choose a different time than me, so I can maneuver the quite narrow paths without a lot of backing up and down the road. Except for the tripod necessary for medium format, this is an ideal mountain bike region.
