Garage artist.DSCN2312, with story

Brown County, Indiana appears to have a lodestone to attract artists of all mediums.

In this instance the homeowner was finishing a rather large canvas, the garage doors to his two car.

While this was a plenty good reason to stop and take the photo, I was also climbing the steep kilometer long hill on my bicycle, and didn't mind taking a break.  We talked a bit and he said the empty area he was working is part of a buffalo head.  Indian lore is a large part of this region, as we had Delaware, Miami and Shawnee tribes nearby.

Some interesting few details visible in the photo.  The artist is unaware he has a spot of red in his hair from his painting.  The chair is a nice touch, to sit back and view the piece as it is completed, or use as a base for a camera or radio.
