Labor protests. DSCN2970, with story

Now that elections in America have entered their next phase, conventions, we find more local protests and actions have escalated in our rural Indiana.

Vandals attacked our mailboxes, a few days ago. (see photo story, below)

It has been determined it might be due to the work of mischievous elves.  Keebler, the cookie conglomerate, has had to lay off some of their workers, in our Brown County forests, as the economy has stagnated.  Not a wise move, labor wise, as these guys takes their positions seriously, as a personal measure of their elf hood.

Today on my local roads, I passed this recent evidence of destruction, as they uprooted their local factory in protest.

     "If we're not working, the forest isn't working either", was heard, sources said.

Curiously, no one reported the sound of the tree falling, as no one was there at the time.

Upon leaving I heard someone mutter a threat...

    "You feeling strong, my friend?  Call me "elf" I more time."   nothing more was said.

    He's an angry elf, I thought as I left.

Now it's a year later in 2017 and the factory is still working, but on it's side.  The tree is still growing and green.
