Description
Making the final turn towards home, I stopped to capture the rising full Moon.
The clouds were covering the Moon in layers, and the trees on the horizon had yet to release it completely. It was a now or never image, with just enough light to illuminate the fields.
Feel free to download, just give me photo credit.

I took two versions of this image. The first, shown on the left, was taken with my Nikon AW130, as it had a longer telephoto zoom. I asked a few visitors to the gallery which they preferred and they all chose the second image, taken with my Leica, below.
Whether it was the color balance or the higher elevated Moon, I couldn't say, but you can, if you wish to comment.
After viewing the image, I chose yet another version of the Leica image with only a minimum of the field showing, changing the image to this choice.
Just two minutes later, as I was entering the long driveway home I stopped for this image.

I like the more separated moon, and the Leica does a better job of that difficult low light sky. The field was a bit distracting for me. This is my choice!
