Description

While walking back to my parked car, I found Ray painting the sign for his bed and breakfast in Nashville, Indiana. As is my style, we got to talking about his qualifications for painting. He said he had 7 years of college so he felt he could tackle it. He was enjoying the satisfaction, working with your hands can offer, so while he continued painting I took a few photos to give him and his family, and after presenting one he allowed me to post it on dA.

This brings up the importance of a snapshot and what we photographers can offer those we meet. He sent copies to his daughters who live out of state. I will post a journal of this idea for you to offer your opinions of this subject.

As always feel free to download, just give me and Ray photo credit.

Wonderful shot of Ray for him and his family.  Personally I feel that the best shots are those "snapshots" that you capture when folks aren't looking or posed.  They tell the true story of life.  When you look back over your old family photos, what kind of photos do YOU find?  I know what I find....everyday life.  And that's what we want to remember....our normal, everyday lives.

Watch out Eugene....someday I'm going to come walking into your shop!
