Tines up.img737, with story, a series

Outside in the yard, setting a mood, the pitchfork standing tines up, with last season's leaves still imbedded, with their home in the background.

Using this image as a establishing shop, it's solitude conveys more than itself.  It shows how time can stand still and reminds me of a simpler life.

Part of my series for my story in "Appalachia '70" magazine, taken with my Zeiss Contarex, with 55mm F1.4 Planar on Tri-X 135mm panchromatic film, about 1969.  Others in my gallery folder of the same name.
