Forest slice. 800-2913, with story

On the back road between Bean Blossom and Bloomington I pass through parts of Yellowwood Forest.  State Route 45 meanders through open land, forests, and man made structures, favoring farms.  As a road it gets light traffic, not many going there and back.h  Bicyclists enjoy the beauty and quiet, and until you approach within 5 miles of Bloomington, it's a pleasant ride, then traffic and drivers change all that.

This forest slice is made up with younger trees lined up to the edge of the field.  This forest was trimmed back leaving a the view seldom seen, a combination of trees all in the same plane.  We were in the late fall, when the reds and oranges make their showing, the peak before the end.  I shot a panoramic series at this spot, someday to paste together.  This image was a piece of the whole, as a test, but stands alone too.
