Golden ivory sky. L1000195, with story

This time I got caught, yet again.

On the road, I will pull over anywhere it seems to take a photograph.  This was a magnificent tree of ancient age and size, in someones front field.  The home was far away, but was always a part of the image.  I tried a few compositions, but this image cropped tighter removed that distraction.

While this was going on, I noticed a car had pulled out the driveway and was stopped by the road.  I've seen this before, so when I was ready to leave, I pulled up to her explaining what I was doing, showing my images, evidently to her satisfaction.  In a few weeks I will drop off my complimentary image, with my card on the back for her to have.  I'm becoming known in the region, so I hope she will eventually stop by the gallery to see what I do, besides her tree.

Taken with my 200mm F4.0 Telyt on my Leica M 240.  This is done with live view, as the lens is not coupled to the rangefinder.

The images were taken in color, but didn't fit my interpretation.  I altered the saturation and color, going to extreme black and white and then back again to color to bring a hint of reality back with an aged ivory wash. 

 Black and white in an attempt to downplay the home in the background.  It didn't suit me.  I went back to subdued color saturation, which didn't feel quite right, returning to the tight telephoto shot, seen posted above.
